Sunday boot sale 14/2/24

Started my Sunday off in a windy, cold and muddy field in hopes of some bargains to brighten my wardrobe. I cant say getting up at 5:45am is easy in February but it definitely makes me feel like a superhuman accomplishing more than the average person lying in on their Sundays!

This is a sign I just love to see, ended up buying 4 things for £1, couldn’t quite scrape 10 items amongst heaps of primark pyjamas but I got there eventually!

I am always on the look out for things that I can make a profit on selling on vinted, a controversial topic to even whisper on a second hand blog but I see no harm in making an extra few pounds selling a top that has been at the bottom of a heap of clothes all day. The hardest part is deciding if I realllllly need it or if I’d rather have the money.

Here are a few honourable mentions of some of the stranger things I saw being sold today, how I love the freedom of car boots, could be out of date for all we know! Starting off with some baguettes, then a strange selection of medicines and… I’m not sure what else, flat screen TV’s, comfy cotton pillows and ‘special’ cookies and brownies.

Food glorious food! All very tempting but then I remember its 7am and I wouldn’t be able to stomach Nutella, however a hot drink from the emergency cafe would be nice, or 100s of chocolate bars would do I guess!

I walked away with £6 less and a few pieces to sell on, but also a compliment on my earrings which set my day up nicely! It always amazes me how I see the same sellers week in week out, still with piles and piles of clothes, makes me wonder where they come from in bulk and what their profits are after paying for their slots.
